Training - Symposia - Lessons

Sharing expertise on dance, dance therapy, connection and well-being. I do this by giving dance classes, training courses, workshops or lectures, or as a coach for students.

News 2025:

I am involved in a research project of ICK academy in cooperation with Cordaan Amsterdam. In this project, I provide training to care staff, based on a module developed from the choreographic work of Eric Minh Cuong Castaing (Marseille) for adults with mobility impairments.

The initiator of this project is Dr. Suzan Tunca (Head of Research, ICK Academy), involved researchers: Dr. Rosemarie Samaritter and Regina Magnus.

Dance lessons

I have taught dance classes and workshops to people of all ages, both amateurs and professionals, and within higher arts education.

My teaching focus has gone through several phases. For instance, I taught modern dance classes to professional dancers, and I taught the subjects of dance improvisation and composition to students at Codarts. I also danced with toddlers and their parents (with immense pleasure!), and I taught dance classes to the elderly and people with neurocognitive disorders. I possess particular expertise in both dancing with toddlers and with the elderly.

Here is a selection of organisations I have worked for: To Be / Energiehuis Dordrecht, SKVR, Marc Vlemmix Dance, Care and Culture, Codarts University of Arts, Minerva Academy, Fontys Academy, Onafhankelijk Toneel, Impro-Exchange (Beijing Academy).
