Dance therapy
I am an MA dance and movement therapist, graduated from Codarts University of Arts. From dance therapy with neurocognitive issues, I have developed into an expert with people with Korsakoff's syndrome.
I am currently working at Care to Change (Mental Health Services), Rotterdam, and Saffier (Residential and Expertise Centre) in The Hague. At both institutions, I deal with complex, often trauma-related cases. Trauma is of interest to me.

What moves you? ....?
Dance therapy is an experiential, creative form of therapy. Your body serves as a source of information to explore what “moves” you internally.
Body, mind and feelings are interconnected and constantly influence each other. Sometimes there are no words for what you are experiencing – but your body language speaks volumes.
I am an experienced movement observer, trained in Laban Movement Analysis (LMA). Together, we will explore your movement and thought patterns. By recognising these, change can be initiated. In this process, your body is our guide.

Connect with your body… with yourself
The body is intelligent, it wants to and can heal itself, even after you have experienced setbacks in your life that have caused blockages and thrown you off balance.
Everyone is different. That's why a dance therapy journey is always tailored to your personal needs. It's important to me that you can be yourself and feel seen in that. That is an essential part of your healing process.
